It was formerly the UK's first preserved standard gauge passenger railway in the country commencing train services in August 1960. The Royal Pavilion is the city's must-see attraction. It's one of the most magnificent buildings in the Uk, and indeed the finest example of early 19th-century chinoiserie in Europe. The entire palace is an eye-popping spectacle.
